I've realized that as you get older, the year goes by faster and faster. A whole years felt like an eternity back when we were kids. And this is due to us always looking up to some event in the future. The weekend. Some project deadline. Planned vacations. Something scheduled in two weeks or two moths. We are always living in the future, thinking about the time passing by faster and faster. And as we get older, we realize that all that time is not coming back. We are not getting older, we are getting closer to death.

spoken like a true pink floyd fan...
"you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking,
racing around to come up behind you again,
the sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older,
shorter of breath and one day closer to death"
