I could make improvements in the following aspects:
- better colour (settings were wrong in the original capture)
- better audio (I could now capture a direct digital source; also there was an error in the original AC3 mix - level too low)
- better noise filtering (advances in avisynth functions, see Doom9)

Detail and sharpness would be the same as the existing version, but I think I would make an anamorphic NTSC DVD this time. I could in theory add the mono mix as an alternative audio option (although the fully restored mix is not yet finished, so this would just be a roughly patched-up version).

I fancy having a go just to see how the video would compare with the X0 project and the official '06 DVD. However, if I did do such a disc, it wouldn't be distributed (due to there being an official DVD release).
