Wait and see is probably a good idea at this point. I'm not crazy about them messing with the classic opening theme music though. And if the original untouched episodes are never released on future formats, that's just as bad as leaving the original cut of the first Trek movie behind to gather dust on Laserdisc and videotapes. And the effects in the so-called "Director's Edition" apparently were not done to HD resolutions, so they'll have to redo that one too!
