They are also getting too old IMO. The last episode of TNG made a point of showing that Data does not age, yet Brent Spiner continues to develop wrinkles, etc - although that's a moot point because they killed Data in Nemesis. Jonathan Frakes is getting on a bit too (I met him during post production of Thunderbird and he seemed kinda hunched and was limping - great guy though, one of the nicest movie people I've met). The only member of the cast who seems to never age is Patrick Stewart - I saw him do a one man version of a christmas carol in London on Christmas eve and he looked thhe same as he always does (the show was great too, btw).Another Next-Generation movie can work, if you could get the cast back, but I think that they have all said they are through with Star Trek.
Having said all that, I would still really like to see another TNG movie, but that's just me.
EDIT: I agree with everyone about the Terminator series though: 3 never happened and we sure as hell don't want (or need) a 4th.
