To the rest of you: Thanks for the nice words. Remember, if you have shots of planets, I'd be happy to take them. I need Naboo or something else for I, and perhaps Coruscant for II.

If I don't find any planets for I and II, I can't finish the set.

BY THE WAY: A few months ago, someone asked me to do a certain cover for Dune. I can't remember who asked, since many of you asked me to covers (...) But if this certain guy who asked me to a Dune cover, please email me? I've a few poster arts to work with now!

Falle, that's an idea that hasn't been attempted before (imitating the Alvin style for the OT for the prequels) and I have to say, that first try looks great. I hope you can get some smoke plumes, a ship and some distortion in there. I'm liking the look. Nice work.

Thank, again. When I get home, I'll try and fix something up, hoping they'll look better! I need some shots of ships though..

I have just uploaded a small pack of 'Clone Wars' wallpapers here. Perhaps you can get a vehicle out of one of these?

I only had that one shot of Mustafar. I did have a few of the other major planets from Episode 3 but I must have deleted them sometime.

As I have been gathering up all my star wars dvds and printingg off covers for them...I came across the workprint copy of episode III that I have.

I own a real version of the film now...but for some reason...I didnt want to throw it out.

So, I made a cover for it.

I used the back from one of Ell's covers, so thanks to Ell for that. I also was inspired the use the poster in a manner for the movie as he did.

I tried to make it look like it it had a big fat stamp that says BOOTLEG on it

I made this for myself....but if for some weird reason you want it...I can send it to you.

Once again, thank you Ell

I have these (there are 3 or 4 other planets), but there aren't any in there that could be used for Episodes I and II.

I quickly needed a trilogy cover for a single-sized triple-case, and some labels, so I threw something together in a matter of hours. The cover-artwork itself borrows from Falle's trilogy-box-cover (sorry for that ) while the "design" of the back is based on a cover by Rikter.

Full size (300 dpi)

For the labels I had to rearrange the posters of TESB and ROTJ to fit around the hole in the label, which took the most time.

Full size labels (300 dpi):

The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi

Some very nice disc-art there. Not enough people do disc arts, some just do the cover.
Some were not blessed with brains.

I guess the labels would work without the logos... I didn't want to cover up Leia in the ROTJ-one, although this does disturb continuity.

First off, let me just say that I am constantly impressed with what people post in this particular forum. I have briefly considered actually making enough copies of these movies to supplement all the covers here (though that is pretty impractical).
Second, I need some opinions. I am working on a project that I've always wanted to see here, but no one has ever done (at least I don't think). I want to make a set of covers for EVERYTHING Star Wars. Fan edits, preservations, supplemental material, everything. The final product would be a set of covers that is uniform; they all have the same style. I titled it "The Ultimate Collection" mainly because this would be a set for everything that is out there, and there is a ton of stuff out there. The thing I wanted to maintain was the original art for the releases, and I think I managed to do that:

(Apologies for TPM being the first one I posted, I know that it isn't always regarded as an "Ultimate" Star Wars movie) The only thing i am not sure about is the back of the cover. Does it look good to you guys? Or should I go a different direction. The big plus to this style is that I can get the entire set finished very quickly (pending I find all of the covers). As for the uniformity of the set:

So please, comments are very welcome and requested on this set.

I'm liking these new projects. As far as the Laserschwert ones go, they look great, although I'd recommend ditching the old chrome logo. It was al I would see back when the Hasbro toys were first released, and most of the very early DVD cover prototypes used it. I'd use a logo that is a better match to that original poster art.

Tim, I like the approach of having a template you could just plug in what ever graphic you need for the cover. I think I'd just use the DVD cover art for the front instead of the actual picture of the DVD. I think it would look better if you would crop it closer.
