Tom has done much more to effect career suicide than just overselling his love with Katie. He calls the entire medical profession of helping people's screwed-up minds a crock, and anywhere, especially in Hollywood, that dog just won't hunt.

I loved Brooke Shields come back to all that - "I think Tom Cruise should stick to fighting aliens and let women who are dealing with post partum depression deal with it however they see fit."
Don't ever pick a fight with Brooke Shields, especially when Brooke is taller than you.
And don't alienate women when women make up a huge part of your fanbase.
