Heads up! Alien 3 will be aired in Hi Definition on INHD1 Thursday August 10 at 11:00P.M. EDT Friday Aug 11 2:00 A.M. PDT. and again on Friday August 18 11:00 P.M EDT Friday August 19 2:00 A.M. PDT.
If this HD version has the rumored "stigmata" ending and comic version of the EEV crash with the alien larva running from Newt to Ripley, I will wholeheartedly endorse this preservation project.
Well since it will be a High Definition Broadcast, I thought it some of us would want to know about it and check it out. I will not be able to record it in HD and preserve it myself. But I will be able to watch in in HD and see how it compares with the transfers that I have in the Legacy and Quadrilogy box sets. Seeing that Blade Runner in High Definition was done by at least two different members of this forum and there are multiple versions of Blade Runner in HD out there. I thought it might be of interest to someone.

The reason why BR was done was because the (then) current version was crap.

I was out of town and not able to see it, I was able to get it to My cable HD DVR set top box but I have not watched it yet. I will try to get to it today.

No. The Cable company has set the record once flag. I recorded it once to my DVR ( A tivo like device) there is no way to transfer it to another device (i.e. by firewire to my computer).
