SomethingStarWarsRelated,

i love your ideas. the first 2 are pretty cool, but my favourite has to be the ships only just escaping as the Death Star explodes. My only worry is that it may end up being too similar to ROTJ. I do have a few ideas on how to avoid that though so i may start playing about with some test FX later. many thaks for your input. Please feel free to keep the ideas coming.

My favorite thing about the ALDERAAN DESTRUCTION EXTENDED video clip is the fact that Jar Jar is in it. But I also have to ask the question of why he is there.
One thing that bugged me after the PT came out is that, what started out as a large character in TPM was never mentioned in the OT. Its just an idea that i had in the back of my head after seeing AOTC that maybe Jar Jar was on Alderaan when it was destroyed.

It's so cool to see this new shot inserted into this scene!
I've wanted to see something like this for years now!
My only concern is that it goes by too quickly. I had to watch it serveral times to see everything in it.
Tellen asked if there was some sort of establishing shot of the planet...I think that might make it work.
But again, wow! Jiminy cricket was right...my dreams are coming true!

I'm may try and slow the scene down slightly but it may mean starting the scene from scratch. I did want to insert an establishing shot of Alderaan with Bail looking up at the Death Star as it sets into orbit but i haven't figured out where i could insert it and still keep the flow of the scene.

Tellan, just watched your scenes. Amazing. I'll send you an email in the next couple of days.

Can I ask you what software you are using for modifying the lightsabers and the majority of your effects?

I'm using Adobe Premier pro 2, Adobe Photoshop, Sony Vegas Video & Virtualdub.
