Okay, I finally got ahold of a copy of the magazine from my friend. The chances are slim, but me & Motti had been talking about contacting the SW Insider mag about getting a little suppot from them.

There are two ways I suppose we could do this:
1. Send a letter/email in & hope is gets posted in the fan mail section.
2. Contact the seperate advertising address given by the magazine.

For the first idea, here is the little article they give you in reguards for fan mail (or as they put it, REBEL RUBLINGS):
Quote

Write to: REBEL RUBLINGS,3245146 Place SE, Suite 110, Bellevue, WA 98007, or email swinsider@paizo.com. or email swinsider@paizo.com. Letters may be edited for clairity and space considerations. All mail MUST include your FULL NAME and HOME CITY. Star Wars Insider is not responsible for any unsolicited material received. All material sent to "Rebel Rumblings" becomes the property of Lucasfilm, LTD. Due to time contraints and the volume of letters received, individual responses are not possible.

For the second idea, here is the whole little article given by the mag.:
Quote

ADVERTISING: Contact Star Wars Insider's Ad Traffic Manager, Wailam Paizo, at wailam@paizo.com or call (425) 289-1340. All ads are subject to approval by Paizo Publishing LLC and Lucasfilm, who have the right to reject any ad for any reason. Advertisers and/or agencies of advertisers agree not to hold Paizo Publishing LLC liable for any loss or expense from alleged wrongdoing that may arise out of the publication of such advertisements.

E-mail it to the Rebel Rumblings section. The advertising one would likely cost money and we don't have the money to do that. So just send a customized copy of the letter with a personal plea from you asking that they post it. It may or may not work, but at least you tried.

I figured that that would be the case for the advertisment. BTW, how did u guys get into that PC magazine?

I'll send them a letter or email as soon as I can. When you say use "a customized copy of the letter," you mean yours, right?

That's what he means ST3K, but with your own "personal touches."

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

That was exactly what I meant. But you don't have to use it. I just figured it would be easier if you guys take a preexisting letter and just go Wolvie-Berserker on it.

I have no idea how we got in that PC magazine. I'm not even sure that was the result of our efforts.

Yeah; seems like they're kinda lazy.

Well, I can't say that I would expect all other magazines to go out and, on their time, create an ad for our website and publish it in their magazine thus negating valuable advertising space. What they did was way above and beyond.

That's the only explanation we can come up with. None of us did it for them.

Unless it was a column masquerading as an ad. This does happen, but not as often as ads masquerading as columns.

One of these threads had a link to the ad in it. Don't have the copy of it myself. But I think it's in the Good News Everyone thread in this section

Just checked out his Lego films. They need a bit of help. I saw a few SW Lego films that were linked off of fbtb.net and they were hilarious. Maybe these would have been better if I had seen them first. But after seeing the SW Lego films, these ones just paled. Haven't checked out the rest of his site but it seems to be dedicated to gaming. Am I right?
