Well, when compared directly to the 70mm film cels I've collected over the years, the DE/Faces colors are much more accurate that the '04 colors.

I think the color correction that Steve Sansweet was referring to was the original color correction done for the DE set back in '93. I don't think any further color correction will be done for the 9/12 DVDs, and that's probably a good thing- since they would probably end up looking like the '04 DVDs.

It's funny- when I first bought the DVDs back in '04 and popped SW into my DVD player, I knew something looked off. It wasn't until I came here that my suspicions were confirmed.

Yeah, and I agree with CO, that unless the OOT is given a proper DVD release- I'm not at all interested in any of GL's "surprises".
