I rarely go to Star Wars’ official site but I figured I would pop over there to see if there is anything new about the 09/12 release. There on the homepage you see the following:

And then on this page the 6th bullet point:

Even though it says the above was written in March 10, 2006 ('07 info on May 10), I think it is highly, HIGHLY suspect that they kept the March update around and linked it with the more recent '07 one. Sure it can be argued that the sentence above is talking about the 09/12 release, but LFL had more than enough time to update since that announcement. Since they have not, I say they didn’t because there are even more releases and “rarities” on the way.
