And for the record, Freedom of Speech and censorship and all that only apply to the government. This forum is privately owned by Jay. The one at **** is privately owned by boon and/or Neo_the_1... whoever, I've not payed that much attention.

In other words, as annoying as it is, they're not really doign anything wrong. It would be no different than a pastor kicking a Muslim evangelist out of a church or kicking unwanted guests out of your home.

Bye dayv, you'll be seeing me soon. i donno i joined in july of 2003, so like 4 months after dayv and all those guys, but i still feel like i am part of that old crew, none of which are on anymore. so ill probably post less and less now.

i mean no offence to DAYV when i say this but if he's going to constantly try and get under Jay's skin by posting stupid pictures and calling people "forum nazi's" when clearly we all know that this forum is far from being regulated i say leave.
it's obvious he's doing it on purpose and i personally thought that he couldn't stoop that low... but low and behold the wonders of knowing people on the internet.

The focus of this forum changed to fan edits a long time ago. If you check out those sections, you'll see plenty of healthy discussions. If you're not into fan edits, this forum doesn't offer as much as it once did. I will say that General Discussions has picked up quite a bit, and with the exception of one new addition who doesn't seem to have many fans, it's a decent place to discuss Star Wars.

Please don't view recent events in the Off Topic section as representative of normal forum activity. If it were a flame fest every day, I'd be the first to say it's time to pull the plug.

Sometimes, things can get out of hand when debate gets heated. Miscommunications occur and misunderstandings result. I don't think either side is proud of or pleased with the outcome.

Is it too early to make Dayv-related jokes... is it still a sensitive issue? I am of the opinion that it is not too early, but hey - that's just me.

He typed as if he had just recently swallowed a bullhorn and it was making it impossible to control the volume of his voice - to be perfectly honest that always confused the bejesus out of me. Motherfucker should have come with a volume knob.
