Atari 2600 ESB was horrible? Never! I love that game. One of the best for the Atari 2600, IMHO. I still play it sometimes.
As for the ESB arcade game, I've played it on MAME before. Its not bad. IIRC, ESB was never really released seperately, just as a conversion kit for the original Star Wars game. That also really hurt sales, and I think it was also released very late, around the video game crash, and that also made sales low. So it is quite rare today. Fortunately, it is avalable through the wonders of emulation.
