Sounds like you're under the impression that Lowry Digital were involved with effects fixes to films; this is not true. The only thing Lowry Digital were involved with was the film cleanup of dirt and scratches (oh, and stars!). Any changes or fixes were done by Lucasfilm and ILM (such as the supposed colour correction).
I guess it would have been a snap for Lowry Digital to fix, but we can't blame them for not doing something they were neither asked or paid to do. That said, the saber colour screw-up likely occured after Lowry Digital had finished with the film, so they had nothing to fix anyway.
