I had the resources to do one of these but I've been busy with going back to uni. However, I was skimming through my hi-res posters and the idea below came to me. I know it's not the best, but eh. I had a corny tagline to the effect of "This is the story before his redemption... this is where Anakin begins..." but it just didn't work well enough. I'd love to see someone try and flesh out my first unattempted idea. I wanted to see if I could work up a poster for a movie that Luke Skywalker would have made about his adventures. Anyone thinks of a way to do that - go right ahead! I just want to see it happen.

I doubt I'll win anything but I just want to congratulate everyone else on their pieces. While some of the entries aren't superb examples of photoshop mastery, it's the idea that counts and I've seen a lot of clever ones so far (my favorites are "The Exorsith" and "Snakes on an X-Wing").

The 'classic movie' spoofs are nice. I was just looking back through the thread and both Falle's and PepsiOtaku's submissions made me smile. I love this sort of competitions that bring out the creative side of everyone. Let's hope there are some more cool ideas posted.

It's still chalk full of heady goodness. I forgot about the glasses. Still think it makes it more humorous as Lucas thinks he's cool.

Well, thanks for doing it, Sluggo. Your contests are always a blast to see what people come up with. I too enjoyed all of the entries, especially Satanika's. He had me rolling every time.

First prize: satanika The guy comes out of nowhere and puts up tons of brilliant and very well crafted posters.
Second prize: Coov As always, the guy has got the mad skillz (do people still say that anymore?) and a style that I like.
Third prize: Darth Solo The committee really liked the Exorsith poster. I liked the other ones also.

So if you guys could let me know in a PM where I shall be shipping these, I'll get these out this weekend.

I got to say I was blown away by all the enteries. Great quality and just danged funny. I had a hard time picking the winners. Sounds cheesy, but I'm proud of all you guys.

I guess we'll be doing this again come Halloween.
