I think the biggest problem has always been with the neck, and the weird way the hood hangs around his head. It never looks like that any of the other times we see him. The side shot looks okay, but that front shot looks like the big turtle guy from the Neverending Story.

If only you had a clean backplate...

But it does look semi-better with the shadowing.
