Yes, well, he's entitled to like whatever makes him happy. I just wonder if, being a Hollywoodite, has or knows someone who has a lot of clout. Plus, I bet he'd love to see a proper release of the original versions, as he grew up with them. At this point, I care about one thing: getting gorgeously remastered anamorphic widescreen versions of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi with the original mono and 2.0 stereo soundtracks and a booming, ass-kicking 5.1 mix interpolated from the original six-track stereo mix on DVD, DH-DVD, Blu-Ray and future home video formats. Everything else, like the PT, I will watch when I am in the mood and enjoy however I like. But I want the OOT. If Smith can help us get that, then by all means, let's contact him.
