What is this about Lucas keeping prints of the original versions for himself? That makes absolutely no logical sense. If he doesn't want any copies of the originals to exist, why is he keeping them? Why does he have them? Why did Darth Fist give information about the upcoming releae involving a new transfer, and then...well, we know what happened. Something isn't right here. "This is an attempt to sell the SEs individually. The OOT is just bonus material." "Buy the originals for the first time on DVD." Both statements from LFL. Something just doesn't make sense.

"The Return of Darth Vader" thing? That whole things seemed to exist to promote ROTS. And all of the features on the DVD are about the OOT, not the SEs. Including anamorphic footage from them. Is there something going on that we don't know about? Does Lucas have two personalities? What the hell is going on?
