I am SKIPPING the regular Star Wars Trilogy DVDs this fall and now more than ever I WANT TO OWN THE ORIGINAL "STAR WARS" TRILOGY
ON HD-DVD IN MAY 2007, in time for Star Wars' 30th Anniversary. "Star Wars : A New Hope" inspired me to be a Writer and I want to own
the Original Uncut Unaltered HD-DVD version of "Star Wars : A New Hope!!!" Write to every single media outlet and DEMAND the Original
Star Wars Trilogy on HD-DVD in 2007! These films MUST be on the best format ever : HD-DVD, there is room on each HD-DVD for the
"Special Edition" version of the film and "Empire of Dreams" and whatever else they want to add BUT I repeat, I WANT TO OWN THE
ORIGINAL "STAR WARS" TRILOGY on HD-DVD in 2007! Write to every single media outlet and DEMAND Lucasfilm to release these great
films on HD-DVD!!!!! Thanks for your support!!!!!!

I agree, and I also want them on DVD. It's good to have you here. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to get through to Lucasfilm. IF you know of any media outlets that would advertise us and support our cause, by all means contact them. We need support. I can see it now, the cover of Newsweek: "Jay Sylvester and The originaltrilogy.com Fans: The Fight To Save an Important Piece of Culture and History." While I'm at it, I wish I had a million dollars.

There's always the slim chance that he'll do it, HudsonMan. After all, he does have a habit of eventually breaking down and doing what the fans want...after he's grown tired of Star Wars fans' groveling and complaining.

We need to find some way to REALLY bring the pressure down on him, though, and I can't think of anything.

Write to these Media Outlets and DEMAND Lucasfilm Ltd release the Original UNALTERED Star Wars films on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray

Yes, well, he's entitled to like whatever makes him happy. I just wonder if, being a Hollywoodite, has or knows someone who has a lot of clout. Plus, I bet he'd love to see a proper release of the original versions, as he grew up with them. At this point, I care about one thing: getting gorgeously remastered anamorphic widescreen versions of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi with the original mono and 2.0 stereo soundtracks and a booming, ass-kicking 5.1 mix interpolated from the original six-track stereo mix on DVD, DH-DVD, Blu-Ray and future home video formats. Everything else, like the PT, I will watch when I am in the mood and enjoy however I like. But I want the OOT. If Smith can help us get that, then by all means, let's contact him.
