Don't bother. You don't like the SE's, fine. Watch the VHS. That wasn't good enough so you wanted the OOT DVD. After years of fanboy "outrage", you're getting that. Only now that's not good enough either. The screen is too small, the sound is different, the title crawl is moving too fast and it's missing the logo, the list goes on and on. And you wonder why people call Star Wars fans "immature whiners" on MSNBC. Go figure.

I never said that Lucas sucked the fun out of anythng. Nor do I wonder why we were called that. It was a joke. The upcoming DVDs do not meet industry DVD standards, or the standards of anything which has been released in the past decade or so. The complains are all perfectly valid. I want to watch the OOT. I also want to show the OOT to my children, and my children's children. I want to be able to display it on the screen in the same high quality of the rest of my DVDs, with booming sound. The screen isn't too small. The transfer is of poor quality. Lucasfilm have admitted this. I'm not trying to suck the fun out of anything. I just want a high-quality copy of three of the most popular and influential movies ever made in their original form. I haven't insulted you. I don't see why you're attacking me. Perhaps if Lucasfilm would put a little time and effort into these DVDs, then there wouldn't be complaints. Tell me, how would you feel if the SEs, which you prefer, were treated this way? Do me a favor and stop say "you." Because you aren't referring to me, but to the OOT fans as a whole, and you are misjudging us. If you visit a variety of other websites, include The Home Theater Forum and The Digital Bits, the latter of which was selected by Entertainment Weekly, a major mainstream American publication as one of the top entertainment news websites, both feel that way. So does Robert A. Harris, who is an expert on film restoration and restored Lawrence of Arabia and Vertigo. He's not a whiny fanboy, and he agrees too. Stop attacking me. I haven't done anything wrong.
