Perhaps George Lucas' greatest feature is his insecurity. On the one hand it causes him to seek approval from others and be a rather private person. On the other hand it causes him to be very stubborn and controlling since he doesn't like facing the fact that he might make mistakes. It's sad since he seems like an okay guy otherwise.
