Star Wars will never die. If I ever want to get into the spirit of Star Wars I'll watch my VHS tapes from the mid 80's. That's the TRUE "Original" Star Wars to me. Just pure VHS originality. Need not this crude matter (in reference to DVD, Anamorphic, better picture etc.) to remember what Star Wars originally was! So in that respect Star Wars can never die. If you have it preserved on DVD in a format which is acceptable to you, you have in your hands Star Wars that won't ever fade away. I'm not saying that I'm suddenly against the cause of getting a better version of the OOT, but I do feel that the early un-fucked with pre 1995 editions are still as true a Star Wars as you'll ever get, unless you some how happen to have copies of the reels of all 3 films from their original release.
