5.1 Sound

Iv decided im going to take the plunge and start to re-edit Attack of the Clones! I'l get me more used to editing video and the different programs as opposed to procanasitating about it for weeks. lol

But my question is this... if I rip a film with 5.1 Sound...will I then be able to export the finished feature as 5.1?

I plan to use Adobe Premier 1.5 to edit and I'l be using the tutorial sticky at the top of this forum to extract the footage etc.

Only if you 1) edit the VOBs directly, as in Womble, or 2) extract the 5.1, seperate the streams, and then recombine them with the final video - which means the audio is recompressed.
