I've already done the editing for the theatrical Ju-On (using the U.S. DVD release as the source). I wish I could include some of the deleted scenes from the DVD, but unfortunately the video resolution and quality is much too low, and the audio tracks contain the director's commentary. I did include parts of the extended ending (no longer the ending according to the chronological timeline) in my edit, disguising the poor source material by decolorizing the video and adding grain to match the introductory sequence. I'm about to start working on the subtitles. I'll probably release this as a single-layer DVD only, since it's a relatively short movie (92 minutes).
I plan to do the TV movies next, combining them into a feature-length movie and perhaps calling it "Ju-On 0" (ala the Ringu series). Ju-On 2 is going to be somewhat harder because of the wilder temporal interplay.
