However, now I'm more curious as to how this "Bible thumper" you talked to explained it, if you wouldn't mind sharing. I mean, I don't participate in church really beyond going to the service on Sundays. I've read through the whole Bible once, but it's been a while. So I could hardly be considered to have "Bible thumper" status.
So it just makes me wonder how I could possible use a Japanese manga based on a Chinese fable to help explain the Christ story while this other guy apparently missed the boat or something.
