alright here's the deal. On my computer, the sound appeared to be fine. However, after watching a burned copy of the dvd, there are a couple of scenes (short ones) where the sound is off by quite a bit. Now, this sucks, as a lot of you have already started to download this. I still feel quite strongly that the film is entirely watchable. A couple of the scenes from Enter the Matrix are slightly out of sync, and there's a sound error where Link says "It's the Hammer" where it's like 2 seconds off, but then corrects itself in the next scene. Now, I need to take a vote. How many people are cool with it as is, and how many people want me to fix it and re-upload. The second option will delay it a few days, and honestly be a bit of a pain, but I can deal, haha.

Also I'd like everyone to keep in mind I'm planning to release a DL special edition in a month or so with some cool menus and some other video goodies, and the sound errors will most definitely be fixed for that release.

just my 2 cents: correct whatever you can. A fanedit must not feel like fanedit, but like a movie. If you want your audience entertained the best (and I know you do), then correct your version, before giving away one with obvious flaws.
Don't get me wrong here, I know, every CBB edit has its flaws either, I just want to state that as long as you can avoid compromises you should do it. So, my vote is: correct it.

Fix it--you won't be satisfied until you do, and it'll yank viewers out of the movie. Plus, screwed up copies will continue to circulate long after you put out a fixed version, if you allow the unfixed version to finish, and you don't want that, do you?

Thats too bad. I do agree with you though. Honestly, i cant watch a movie when there is an audio sync problem. I lose all interest in the film and only concentrate on that. You will be seeding Pirates of The Caribbean though yes?

you have 34% in 24 hours? damn I need your connection. anybody have any clue why my brand new IMAC G5 with verizon DSL is so shitty? I got 0.3% in 12 hours....

Spence, the first 42 minutes are great! I wish I had more time tonight to watch the rest. I hate not seeing a movie all the way through, but now that I'm a dad, I can't set aside 3 hours very easily...
