The major problem with Star Trek today is that there isn't really anything that is movie-worthy available to them. Voyager and DS9 I think isn't too familiar to the general movie-going public to be successful, and nobody would want to see an Enterprise movie, and TNG seems to be worn out. I don't think they really have much left but the Kirk and Spock in the academy idea, but I'm not certain that it will work.
Anyway, I like all the original Star Trek movies, and First Contact. Yes, even Star Trek 5, that nobody else cared for. The other TNG movies I didn't personally like very well.
