I use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 on a Petium-4 2.0 ghz with an old Geforce Ti4200. I have been doing edits of DUNE and Star Wars Making Magic with no problems. What type of problems are you having? Are you giving your source videos the time they need to conform before trying to view and edit them? Big AVI files can take quite a long time to conform.

THX, I to am using Premier Pro 1.5 to do some re-edits but im stuck right at the beginning. I have created an .avi from a 2:35:1 dvd. But then when I create a new 16:9 project in Premier it comes up with this:
However when i use 4:3 it eliminates this, but i get a thick black bars. Obviously i want my project to be seen ideally on 16:9 tv's but is there a way to stop the above from happening?
