Don't forget THX 1138. I'd love to see that film someday, but Lucas doesn't seem to want to release it. And T.V. shows. Apart from the idiotic censorships of Tom and Jerry, there is also the situation of the producers of shows like Northern Exposure and Quantum Leap whod don't want to buy the original music. We'll probably never see proper release of those. The recent Justice League season 2 set was released in widescreen after a massive letter writing campaign, but not anamorphic. After complaints, future sets will be 16:9. Why can't I just watch things the way the they were originally presented in high quality on DVD? Is that too much to ask?

I loved Northern Exposure- what did they do to those DVDs???

Didn't GL also alter the opening shot of American Graffitti? Was the original version ever released on DVD?

They compeletely altered most of the original music for many of the episodes because the producer did not want to pay for the rights, so generic music was used instead. No, the original version of AG was never released on DVD and probably never will be.

That sucks about NE - that show used great music! I remember the one where they used the Lindsey Buckingham track ("D.W. Suite" - I think it was called)

Sucks about AG too!
