I got close to the source at Celebration 3 though....was going to confront Lucas face to face in the Q&A they had there, but they closed it down when I was only two people away.....AND......they were screening questions.
Besides....like we're going to get a straight answer out of anyone at LFL or Lucas himself.......
We really need to find some way to push harder. We're denting the armor, but we need armor-piercing rounds. We've got to go do something now that we are finally gaining ground. When is Celebration IV, opr whatever the heck the next even Lucas will show up himself.

I was at Comic Con this past friday. Steve Sansweet or whatever was there. I got pissed though because it was like an hour long presentation and he told us NOTHING WHATSOEVER. To top it off, they were handing out buttons saying "HAN SHOOTS FIRST...Sept. 12, 2006" Nothing like taking an insult, turning it around and capitalizing off of it.
To vent my anger...I was in the back of the huge auditorium shining my green laser pointer all over him. So...if you were there and you saw that...that was all me baby.
Dude ... if you're going to lase people, use red. Green lasers are a lot more dangerous. I recall the feds getting involved because of kids lasing airplanes taking off from a nearby airport ... the green laser was powerful enough to screw up the pilots' vision. Of course he didn't say anything new. He never does. He regurgitates everything that's online. But I swear the majority of the people in that room do not have Internet access. Everytime I go to his "spectacular" it's the same crap that's been online for months. The only thing they unveiled this year was the 30th anniversary logo and the logo for Celebration IV (which turned out to be VERY close to a logo someone in the Rebel Legion designed for Celebration IV). Then when Q&A starts, you get the same STOOPID questions everytime (assuming they even had a Q&A).
I actually didn't even make it this year and I found that I missed absolutely nothing. I think the one time they unveiled something "earth shattering" was two years ago when they announced the title for Episode 3. But I think even a well educated guess could've seen it coming (a friend of mine even said he had a bad feeling it was going to be ROTS since it was so close to the original ROTJ). Of course, everything they showed and talked about was online before the convention even ended, so there wasn't a need to see it there anyway.
And the whole "Han shoots first" thing is actually just plain wrong. A friend of mine pointed it out "Han shot ONLY!". That's right. He wasn't first, he was the ONLY shot. There can be no first if there is no second. F Scale score - 3.3333333333333335

the q&a thing was Über retarded. they had a bunch of dumb fuck 9 year kids asking if they were going to release more games for the gamecube....after blatanly announfing they were moving to next-gen and even showed a video of an upcoming jedi next gen game.
and as for the laser..talk all you want...but when/if you get one...you too will find it too hard to resist shining it on EVERYTHING. I avoided his eyes though...dont worry.

Just make up a question that sounds intellectual (but is actually shallow) and will make Lucasfilm feel special (but not in an obvious way) and then pretend that will be your question. There's a good chance they'd let you as it and then when you get to the mike, drop your bombshell. You don't have to be offensive or criticize the SEs, but just respectfully state that, at the very least, most fans would like to have the option to own a high-quality release of not only the SEs but the theatrical versions as well.

As always. The year after AOTC came out, someone got up and asked "Why was it called Attack of the Clones when the Clones weren't really attacking until the end?" You could tell Steve was exasperated by the question "Because Star Wars is fun and blah blah blah" (the blah blah blah is mine ).
I saw the video of the game footage online. It seems like everyone can do Jedi the way they were originally described (like OT) except George himself. They went from being a well respected force to be rechoned with, to a bunch of weak diplomatic politicians. F Scale score - 3.3333333333333335
