To everyone complaing about the suit: I must admit I udestand your grumbles, but it could have been worse. 2 years ago, when a new Superman moive was still in development hell, I had an informal meeting with a guy who worked as a concept artist at Sony Imageworks. He showed me his portfolio, which included some top secret Superman artwork. If you could have seen some of the suit designs that were considered, you would be grateful they went with the suit they went with. One of the suits looked kind of like this black one: If that is true, then I'd rather have the "underwear ad" suit. And another one, the worst in my opinion, was Superman in a suit of armour. And I don't mean a suit of Armour like 'Steel' or even like Iron Man - I mean an actual suit of armour like a Knight, with a big S on his chest. I don't know what they wer ethinking, and neither does the guy whose portfolio it was - he said we was just told to draw that so he did, even though he hated the idea.
After seeing that artwork, I can live with a rust colour cape.
