Yeah, you're right. When Darth Vader revealed Luke's parentage to him, Kersh wanted to have Vader take his helmet off to reveal the face of Underdog, but since that wasn't technically possible in a realistic way back in 1979, he had to scrap that idea. He also wanted to have a sex scene between Han and Lando as a ploy to get Han's guard down so that Vader could capture him, but Harrison and Billy Dee refused to do it.
Thank goodness for that, huh?
