I dont know if anyone has done this yet, Im aware that there are many re-edits out there, but ive not been able to find this one yet…I would like to see reloaded with “last flight” edited in at the begininning where it should be as well as the scenes from “enter the matrix” edited in where they should be in reloaded. i know this seems dull, and maybe there are those out there that think the last thing they want to do is to make this film longer and more drawn out than it has to be, but i think it is something that should be offered as another version. im the type of person that when one of my favorite bands put out a record, not only do i want that record, but i also want all the bsides to that record. It just makes for a more complete experience for me.
has anyone done this or has anyone been thinking abou it?

My edit i am working on has a lot of the ETM scenes and has Final Flight of the Osiris at the beginning, but it isnt just a lengthened version of Reloaded.

If there's more interest in this than just yourself, I'd be happy to do it, shouldn't take very long.

That sounds pretty cool. I'd like to see how that would turn out with everything that fits into the the two movie's storylines edited in. Plus one on interest.

Some of the scenes may not make sense on their own without the information that is given during the the gameplay. Would you like every scene inserted, or just the ones that make sense on their own?

Ive spent alot of time thinking about this, and watching the scenes from the box set.
At first I wanted every scene, as much as I could get, even if it didnt make any sense, but then I realized that that wouldnt make it a complete movie, it would make it a choppy mess, so to answer your question, the only scenes that should be used are the ones that make sense within the confines of the film.
However, I realzied with the proper editing, some scenes can make sense if you take them out of sequence and place them in different points in the movie and edit them and combine them with scenes from the film so that the unseen action could take place during those moments.
I hope this makes sense. I'm tired, but either way, I know there are people that are much better at this than I am, all I ask is that you would use as many scenes as you could, and if you would like the script the way i imagined it chronologically, let me know. otherwise i leave you to your genius.

mostly my script ideas were taken from http://mitglied.lycos.de/tonymnyphot/forum/m2_etme.htm
this site was kind enough to put the film, game and short anime in the proper order. keep in mind though the author of this site takes into account that you have the action sequences from the video game, which would either be impossible to get, or at least wouldnt look right.
that is something to work off of, but like i said, some scenes would have to be rearranged in order to make the scenes make sense.
I could have my re-edit of the script done by sunday, since i would have to watch everything again and it would take a few hours, but, in the meantime, i would like to see other people's opinions of how it should fit.
i like my ideas, but im hoping someone can make it fit better, and then i will try my edit and see how that fits...
and to anyone with interest in this, thanks for any help you want to offer

Yea, I say use only the ones that add to a scene or can make sense with editing, we don't need this movie anymore cluttered than it already is.

hey Spence, I was wondering how the extended cut is progressing...also, i was wondering if I could also get a copy of The Matrix Squared. I want to have my parents watch the second and third matrix but don't think they will sit through them, but with your squared cut, they should dig it.

hey bro ive had some big technical problems with the ETM cut scenes, i cant get them to be anamorphic, then i cant get them in sync, and just lots of random tech glitches. i'm trying to get them to work.

Holy crap Spence101287, that is an awesome thing to ddo.

My girlfriend is a total freak for all things matrix..i got her the box set, i got her te comics...she just loves that stuff...

listen, do you think this extended thing will be done by christmas....i would love to give it to her for an x-mas present....also the hacked version if you still have copies of that...
