I just saw this movie last week, and I have to say that the imagery was beautiful. I loved the opening credits with the old Superman titles and the John Williams theme. Brandon Routh made a good Supe (though not as good as Chris Reeve), Kevin Spacey was a very good Lex Luthor, Parker Posey was great as Kitty, but I think the girl who played Lois (can't recall her name this second) was badly miscast. Margot Kidder's Lois was spunky yet vulnerable, but this new Lois is totally boring and bland. Overall, the story was OK- but could have been a bit more focused.

Glad I saw it, anyhow. I liked it a bit better than "Pirates 2" which I thought was too long, and not as much fun as the original.

I don't know, is it just me, or are all of these movies having trouble living up to their hype? Maybe I'm just getting old. LOL!

Not crazy about Supe's new threads, FWIW. They look slightly...off.
