Bram Cohen's official BitTorrent client uses a port range 6881-6899 (or is it 6881-6999 ?) by default, but there are options to change it to something less well-known.
I haven't used the GUI version (if one exists) but the command-line options are, for example
--minport 49152 --maxport 65535

Do I only need to change the range in my torrenting program, or do I also need to config my firewall, too?
