I just called Lucasfilm using the number Jay provided on the front page. A guy answered saying he couldn't answer my question (is France getting anamorphic versions?) and that he didn't know who to connect me to that could, since he can only connect using names, not people's positions. When I asked if he could connect me to PR, he said he wasn't sure if they had one.

WTF?

Anyway, that number I called was (415) 662-1800.

A number I was given in the past for the PR department was (415) 623-1962. An answering machine picks up there, confirming that it is Lucasfilm's PR department and that people should leave a message or write an email.

It's like, 2:22 p.m. there right now - not lunchtime. Do you think they switched to automated answering after the first wave of the non-anamorphic debacle?

I am going to try that first number again to see if I get a different person.
