This is a wondefully crafted project that truly shows the kind of care and dedictaion that MoveAlong put into it. The editing is superb; nice combination of stills with moving video. I haven't watched one of the Star Wars movies in a long time since I have seen them so many times and know them so well. As much as I wanted to watch this DVD after I got it I was reluctant because I didn't want to sit through what could have possibly been another 2 hour movie with some narration. I was happily impressed how MA was able to make the movie work in a shorter more fast-paced way.
The DVD-Rom portion is fun to look through, and the easter egg was a nice touch especially for people who had the Story of Album growing up. The audio options are what really make this DVD go from good to outstanding though. The choice of whether to listen to the movie with the straight '77 audio or a combination of the '04 and '77 is excellent. I have to say that I love the combo version best, but decide for yourselves.
I enjoyed the movie from start to finish, and eagerly await the next installments.
The only thing that could have made this better would have been having someone who actually knew what they were doing make the title crawl for this porject; what a hack!
