I admit that I got caught up in the mob mentality of this, too. Well, obviously I did because I posted here, and, while I would never do it myself, I felt sympathetic to and excited by Cable's cause. While part of me still feels like it would be an exciting release and giving the other side "what they deserve," my more rational part has finally taken over, and I know it would do more harm than good.

However, I still feel there's no reason topics arguing for the OOT and against the SE and PT shouldn't be accepted and even encouraged at sites like SW.com and TF.net. After all, they're general Star Wars sites, not (supposed to be) devoted to one incarnation of Star Wars like we are. Conversely, I still feel that dissenting views should be accepted here as well. I know I've said it before. There are some guys who come here and act holier than thou, saying we should be grateful and don't know what we're talking about. But there are others who come here politely suggesting something PT or SE supportive, and most people just run to jump on his case. And I feel that's extremely hypocritical.
