The offer stands. I was focussing solely on getting Warbler to drop the whole 'veto power' thing and was perhaps a little hasty in offering him 50% but, while I do believe that Ricardo is indeed correct in his prediction that this may bite us in the ass one day, I am a man of my word and will not go back on an offer.
