On the boards it’s real easy: be honest, be consistent, be open-minded, be loyal, be diligent, defend the rights of others (even when they disagree with you) and fight to the death for what’s right.
In real life: Same as above, but much more difficult to execute. It’s not that hard to ignore an ignorant comment on a thread. I’ve been ignoring Chrisdo for a week now. It is hard to ignore it when someone cuts you off on the highway. That human essentially just told you that their time is more important than your life. That’s hard to ignore and it’s also why I no longer pack heat when I drive. I pray and I try to follow the ideals of the greatest living Philosopher, Jesus Christ. If you have a faith of some kind then cling to that for strength. If you have no faith then cling to the fact that you have HUGE BALLS and are taking a HUGE RISK with your eternal soul. I think if people would remember their faith in a higher power (or faith that there is no higher power) they would be more resilient.
