I don't drink like I used to when I was a youngster. Back in 94-97 I managed a liquor store in Denver with a wicked sweet beer selection (we had 100+ brands, mostly local brews) I've never drank that much in my life and I even learned to brew beer.

I used to drink between 12-30 beers over the course of the day... every day, I even drank at work (liquor store after all) which was about a 6 pack on average every day as my brother Pat and I always had two kegs on tap at home (converted two fridges) one of which was always Guinness Draught w/ 30psi nitrogen/CO2 tank and a homemade cold plate so yeah I really got into drinking!

MAN, living in LODO at the time ROCKED, I had a car but I never drove anywhere as the buses ran till well after last call and oh boy all the crazy drink specials in the bars in LODO ruled, we had a "Drinkin' With Lincoln" night which after you paid a $10 cover charge you got tap and well for a penny! (10oz dixies cups but shit a penny is a penny - and YES they would cut you off at the slightest slur!). So living downtown (13th and Corona) was a true blast as we were in staggering range of most bars, pubs and taverns* (*places to score on older ladies if your dirty like that ), I even got a few drunk in public tickets and once I even got to ride in the paddy wagon and a night stay in the drunk tank after a super fun piss drunk fist fight at a Toasters show!

I was able to drink my age in pints until I turned 30 but I no longer drink as much (only a few pints a week now) nor do I home brew full-time. But I'm thinking of buying some hops and malts and firing up the old 5 gallon boiler pot!

And yes, I've been drinking
