Very dissapointing for the US. Just like their first match, they didn't seem to be playing with any sense of urgency, all the while knowing that they HAD to win in order to advance. They have major scoring issues as well. I'm not sure you could consider anyone on the team besides maybe Johnson a striker.

But sadly once again I come away frustrated at this game. There's no way the foul that led to Ghana's penalty kick was even a foul. Horrible call all the way. The guy takes a dive and is awarded the game-winning goal. Then near the end of the match, another guy takes an obvious dive to milk a few more minutes off the clock. And this is considered good strategy? Give me a break. There's just something about a guy putting on a show and pretending he's in agony that I don't think I'll ever understand. How that can be seen as perfectly alright in the eyes of the entire world just baffles me.

In the end though, Ghana surprised everyone and advanced to the next round. What a great story for a country that's never even qualified for the World Cup. Kudos to them.
