I don't remember the exact quote, but it was something about "It'll all come out in the end. Now we'll see what the fans really want." I've revised the letter to hold this line.

Dear Mr. Lucas,

With regards to your comments that sales of this set will show what versions the fans really want, I am returning this 2004 edition disc that I recieved in the recent release to help you with your calculations. I only wanted the original theatrical version.

I would have preferred that the Original Version DVDs be in a 16:9 anamorphic format, but since this is all that's currently available, I guess will have to settle for non-anamorphic for the time being. I do, however, hope that we can see a remastered, anamorphic version of the film(s) in the near-future, preferebly on a hi-def format.

But I would much rather watch the Original Version DVDs in a non-anamorphic format than watch the Special Editions in an anamorphic format- so I give my DVDs to you. You may do with them what you like.
