Here's something I've been working on for the past few days, based exclusively on the 1990/1992 VHS set (the one I grew up with as a kid):

Many thanks to Sluggo for providing me with a scan of the Empire VHS back. This is NOT done, obviously - there are two things I need to finish this one, and one of them will help me finish the other two:

1) The Vader/Luke picture used in the photo montage on the back in the highest resolution possible
2) This font: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v58/chainsawash/dc.jpg

Also, if anybody has scans or pictures at ANY resolution whatsoever of the backs of SW and ROTJ, I will greatly appreciate it if you'd send them to me via PM or post/link to them here. If you'd like a trade of some sort, I've got a very high-res ROTJ poster scan and a fairly good SW one, plus very nice textless versions of all the Struzan one-sheets.

Of course, I'll be more than willing to share these once they're completed.

I believe that is a custom font created for the release, Bodega Sans is the closest font you'll find, and you can buy it at fonts.com.

What I should have said is that Bodega Sans is used as the font for the rest of the text on the 1993 definitive release. This information is earlier in this thread originally posted by Rikter/Cerevo, just re-posted by me. It's interesting how a lot of earlier cover designs you can't download.

These vintage OOT covers were posted 2 years ago in this thread by ShuMai and I think they are great covers so I thought I would repost them. Check them out.

As for those covers, I remember them - they're the Criterion-style covers, not bad. They also have something I needed for mine - credits in the "definitive edition" font!

That's because ShuMai's covers were a recreation from scratch of Soulflare's covers, removing elements ShuMai didn't like.

Soulflare's covers were in turn based off cerbero's artwork.

Oh okay. Do you have Soulflare's Ep5 cover? or "LD4.jpg" (supplementals for ShuMai's - I have in much lower quality for some reason).

Ahh now I know why, cause I got them from - http://kevin.alfahosting.org/Original%20Trilogy/ShuMai/index.html

Now, I don't suppose there's any covers for the Radio Drams floating around??

I've just d/l them all, and a nice cover would be jolly nice...and I can't be arsed to make my own at the mo...
