The slowness COULD be due to the fact that, in my house, there are 4 computers all linked together in a wireless network and the bandwidth is probably like "whooooooooooaaaaaa I'm cloooooooooogged".
As far as clients, I only use utorrent or bitcomet, and those work nicely.

Yeah, I've seen someone else in the thread mention using utorrent. I'm currently using the one you get from bittorrent.com and I dunno if that's good or bad or what. I'm considering switching. I may lose whatever I've already got in the transition but considering I've only managed to snag about 4%, no biggie.
