Didn't see this flipping through this post, but kinda on topic...Just saw over at DarkHorizons that they've FINALLY worked out the copyright mess that BR has been in for so damn long, and Scott is cutting a brand new version. Which will be released thatrically next year, along with the oft-promised three-disc set containing ALL of the previous cuts, plus this new one. Hopefully they've not been shortsighted enough to only prepare an MPEG2 version, but have also got something for HD as well.

Yeah, the news broke here two weeks ago and we can allay your fears about HD versions; both HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions are in the works.
