A common editing phenomenon is that after you stare and analyze something you've done a million times, it starts looking good no matter what. This could be what happened with Grevious. After hearing it over and over and over, you start to get used to it. To an actual audience member, the voice sounds extremely stupid.

I want to pick a couple with great interest in the project, as well as one person that likes fan edits but hasn't heard of the changes in advance. I'd like these people to get me a written report as to what (if anything) was jarring in terms of editing, pacing, or dialogue. Then, I can implement any changes into the much more time-consuming dual-layer encode for general release. The first version could also hold over those of you who are losing sleep because this isn't in their DVD player yet (where are you, MTH?)

Sound good to you?

Hey Trooperman,

I just read on the forum that you are going to be doing a preview "screening" of "Shroud of the Dark Side" before doing your final copy.

Honestly, even though I'm a regular visitor here, I had not really looked at your project until today - I was convinced that there was not much that could be done with AOTC.

Seeing the last two or three pages of this thread, though, has shown me the degree of editing that you will be doing, and now I'm really interested. However, there are so many pages to this thread, I've not waded through enough to have much of an idea of what you are doing, except that it will be a major overhaul. In my opinion, AOTC is currently standing as the worst film in the saga, when you are counting "Balance of the Force" as Episode I, so you definitely have your work cut out for you, but more power to you.

I don't know which category that puts me in - someone with great interest in the project or just a person that likes fan edits but hasn't heard of the changes in advance - but I would be happy to help review if you think my position would be of value.
