What I hate the most....Well, I can honestly say I have no gripes with any scene in the OOT, but one of my least favorite scenes in the Special editions (1997-2004) would be the Jabba scene. Jabba doesn't look like Jabba, doesn't talk like Jabba, and the scene is superfluous. Why was the Greedo scene in there at all if there was going to be a Jabba scene ten seconds later?

The scene I hate the absolute MOST is in ESB 2004 edition, when the emperor talks to Darth Vader. While it was a good idea to replace the old emporer with the one in the rest of the series, the scene screws up so much in the area of drama. In ESB 2004, we see his face in full. In 1980, the point was that we DON'T see his face, so it is more dramatic in ROTJ. Also, the Emporer tells Vader Luke is his son, not only ruining the ending but changing Vader's whole charecter. For one, there was no way in hell Vader didn't know Luke was his son. Padme was pregnant. She had a kid, he knew this. Luke SKYWALKER, Vader's last name. Anyway, my biggest gripe with Vader only knowing from this moment on is that his redemption is less powerful in 2004. It is much more meaningful when we know Vader has been trying to kill Luke for two solid movies, even when he knew full well he was his son, and in the end, he found that he just couldn't do it when the time finally came.
