E.g.:
year 2000
-------------
salaries of my parents: $200/$250 per month (net icome, excluding tax/health insurance already paid)
average LucasArts game's price: $50
...and now economics are worse (unemployement, etc.) thanks to "government of buddies"...
(And that's why I'm still using a computer that remembers what was to "party like it's 1999".)
But to make things funnier, Polish publishers try to cut average game cost to 50% by buying license for exclusively Polish edition. (The producer sells it at lower cost, coz it can't be "sold back" in other countries due to different language.)
So the next Jedi Outcast may feature Billy Dee Williams' or Mark Hamill's voice, but it will be replaced by Polish dubbing. Also don't count on getting bonus figure in the Jedi Academy box, too.
Think of the words that generate the SW look&feel ("blaster", "hyperspace", "droid", "lightsaber"...) that have to be translated...
LucasArts website says "sorry, but registration and ordering is valid for US and Canada residents only."
And who is fu..ed beyond reckognition here?
