I hate people that walk in the street when there is a perfectly good sidewalk!!!

I've noticed a disturbing trend of pedestrians walking in the street after dark (and during all hours of the day) either alone or with children and a bunch walking their dogs, what gives?? I was taught as a child to STAY OUT OF THE STREET. Weren’t they??
